Licence amendments

In July 2020, the WA Government announced a series of initiatives to streamline approval processes and further regulatory reform to aid economic recovery post COVID-19. Initiative 3 of Streamline WA, ‘Reduced reporting burden’, has been implemented in Industry Regulation by reducing environmental reporting requirements for more than 60% of eligible licences granted under Part V Division 3 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act).

In April 2022, in accordance with Section 59B of the EP Act, the department provided written notice to affected licence holders of the amendment to the licence conditions, and 21 days to comment. The amendments were finalised in May 2022.

In 2016, the department undertook the same process to extend licence expiry dates. Both notices of amendment are available below:

• Notice of amendment and schedule of licences with amended expiry dates (2016)
• Notice of amendment and schedule of licences with amended reporting conditions (2022)

The notices are in alphabetical order by licence holder. Licences will be progressively updated to reflect the notices, when an application is received to renew, amend or transfer the licence.
